North Lincolnshire and Humberside Sailing Club is a family orientated club, owned
and run by the members.
The water is available for sailing and windurfing 365 days
a year . Dinghy racing generally occurs on Sundays, windsurf racing on Saturdays.
There are special children's/youth training session on Wednesday evenings for Windsurfing and Thursday evenings for Dinghies. Adult training can be arranged on request - usually on Saturdays - all instructors are volunteers so all training is subject to their availability.
Established in 1953 the club supports dinghy sailing and windsurfing on a 80 acre
inland water close to the Humber Estuary. The club has excellent facilities and is
open all year round with regular programmes of racing for dinghies and windsurfers.
It is family orientated and offers training to members and non members of all ages.
The members sail a variety of dinghies, the most popular being Laser 1, Laser 4.7,
Mirror, Miracle, R'S 200 and Topper. There is also a large handicap fleet.
We also
have a windsurf race series, an active junior windsurf section, and a very successful
T15 section.
